My name is Jean D. Reid; I live in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada.

I am the proud mother of four beautiful children; my husband and I are hoping to have at least one more. This time around my daughter will be so disappointed if I don't have a sister for her. She was a little disappointed when my last son was born. At the hospital just after his birth, she said, "But mom he's not a girl." I told her that we could dress him in girl clothes; she didn't want any part of it. LOL. I wish I had a camera; the look on her face was just so priceless.

Remembering my little treasures as babies is so inspiring. Capturing precious moments of their lives and recreating them from little balls of clay is so rewarding.

Now here is the boring part. I am a formally trained artist. I was selected to attend a prestigious Art High School. I then went on to College to specialize in Advertising and Graphic Design. What a great experience. Over the years I have touched on many aspects of the Art world. Drawing and painting have been my passion for many years.

Life at the Pond

Although my experiences with polymer clay and sculpting have not been long, I enjoy it very much. Each new sculpture is a learning experience. I like to try new ideas and different things, always aspiring to create the perfect little treasure.

Each sculpture and pencil portrait is a result of my love for babies and passion for art.
